Concentrated Area

These pictures make up my concentrated area. My consentrated area is mostly focused on "personal struggle" because up until the class, I had used art to express my inner most personal feelings that I couldn't express in words alone. So I used this to really explore my feelings and thoughts and turned these negative things into something good. I didn't originally start out using the transparent paper; that idea came later when a teacher suggested I try to intensify my work. So I used the paper to show progression. As you go through the pictures, the transparentcy paper starts to consume the piece, going from clear to completely unrecognizable.
